Big Boys

They are really growing up! Jack is doing such a great job with his potty training. He loves being a big boy and it is so nice not to have to clean up diapers (although the accidents still have to be cleaned up). I asked him, "Do you want me to take a pic of you in your new unders?" and he was super excited. As i took it I said, "Say, "Unders!" and he threw his arms up and yelled unders! This is his victorious pose:

Mean while Chase is learning to drive the Jeep:

And I love this pic of Chase brushing his teeth like a big boy, reminds me of his daddy with the towel wrapped around, so cute!

Jack said:

So, you probably didn't think anyone does Tae-bo any more but I was sweating it to my VHS copy from '97 when it came to this maneuver:
Jack was in the middle of one of his cartoon shows so i didn't think he was watching me until he said: "Wheels on the Bus Mommy?" sure enough I was doing the 'Wheels on the Bus' actions. I laughed so hard, he is a clever little boy.

Potty Training

We are potty training Jack. No, we don't make him do it from that far away...but he is a talented kid so maybe someday...

I didn't know where it would take me....

BLOG SURFING!
Ok so I was aware of the button at the top of blogs that says "next blog" but I never really used it before today. I started clicking the button and it was so fun! It just takes you to random blogs from all over the world. After calling Quinn over to the computer for the 10th time to look at random stuff I thought I would post a few of my favs and maybe make it into a tag. Here goes:
1. This was a european looking blog (I didn't recognize the language, neither did Quinn) What kind of city likes creapy looking spiders enough to have a monument to them? Cool pic though, this person was a great photographer.

2. This guy I had to include 2 pictures of so you could get the full effect. It looked like it was in spanish, south american maybe. The title of this post, and the only part written in english, was "American Loft Party" I love how people in other countries (except for middle eastern ones of course) want to be american but tend to confuse things. I mean really, when was the last time you went to a "loft party"? (have you ever been to one? my point exactly)

His pose just makes this post. If I had only posted the top pic you might think, "oh this guy is joking around for the camera." but no! He seriouly did this face in almost every pic, even drinking a beer...he still had the same look!

3. This pic is from the 3rd blog I ran into, it is a little mormon teeny bopper who posted like 20 pics of her latest stake dance and ward halloween party. This was the only redeemable pic, she titled it "coolest star ever!." I love how I ran into another mormon so fast, Quinn says it is because only mormons blog.
4. This person is so messed up! This pic is from their whole portfolio of art about all the contraceptive methods. They are hoping a gallery is going to pick it up soon for a showing...waah!

5. Then I ran into the provo fire fighters web site, crazy! I promise I looked at less than 15 blogs and 2 of them were mormon. This pic is from a 911 call and yes, that man is wearing his shorts as a shirt.
So, those are my 5 favorite things from blog surfing. I also thought it was crazy that I ran into 2 blogs in other languages entirely devoted to Harry Potter.
I tag 5 people Jamie, Laura, Kelli, Stacy and Dani to find 5 funny/interesting/wierd pics for their post!

We love the zoo...

We really Love The Zoo!
This kid really loves the zoo, he is about to climb up and over those bars into the Giraffe area, and he's gonna take that stroller with him:
Grandpa got to come with us (we go just about every week, sometimes twice a week). Thanks to Grandpa for watching the kids for us so we could go to a real wedding, complete with dinner, dancing etc.

Why we have to move back to Utah...

This is why we have to move back to Utah:

He stood there looking over the fence at the other kids playing in the yard next door for like 45 min. He wouldn't get down even when I offered to push him in the swing...it almost broke my heart. Can't wait for him to be back with cousins again.

On a lighter note, Chase did this while Jack was longingly looking over the fence:
He was sitting down and then just stood up and continued standing long enough for me to get quite a few shots. It is his first time standing up without the assistance of any objects. When he fell down he just stood back up 2 more times. He is growing so fast!!

Yes, he is putting a rock in his mouth, yes, it did stay there for a while because I loved watching him stand. No, he didn't swallow it.

Halloween!
We had an awesome Halloween this year. It is our first time to dress up with a family theme. We just had to to cowboys and horses because Jack is obsessed with everything horsey.
Jack at the beginning of the evening....

Jack after a few rounds of the cupcake walk, lots of cake, a few pieces of candy, 3 games of toss the pumpkin and a little bean bag toss...phew! It wore him out!

"Baby Horsey!" is what Jack loves to call Chase even when he isn't dressed as one for Halloween. This costume was very fitting, we especially love the little tail flopping around when he crawled!

The traditional picture with the loot! Gotta love that grin.

Thanks for joining us!

Hey everybody, thanks for changing your clocks to AZ time today (I am speaking to those in Utah mostly) Glad you could join us in our timezone. Also, a shout out to California and Oregon as they leave us and move foreward an hour (I don't think anyone in Washington reads my blog so its not included in the S.O.) May I just say it is nice to live in a state that is brave enough to just stay the same time all the time, so reliable these Arizonians.

Here is a fun fun fact: Daylight Saving Time was instituted in the United States during World War I in order to save energy for war production by taking advantage of the later hours of daylight between April and October. In 1966, Congress passed the Uniform Time Act which standardized the length of Daylight Saving Time.
