Pretend

Jack is learning to pretend play. His best pretending is sleeping. He loves to close his eyes and go to sleep anywhere, anytime. In the tub, in the car, playing outside, while watching a movie, in the middle of dinner etc. you can find him "sleeping" for about 5 seconds at a time. What a cute little sleeper.

Sunday Best

The top pic is of Jack ignoring the camera. Unfortunately for me he hates the camera right now, so sad! As you can see in the bottom picture, this is how he acts when forced to be in a picture, darn these terrible twos!

Diaper Head

Alright, so...I have a little fetish: I love putting diapers on my children's heads. It started when Jack was a baby. While changing his diaper the peek-a-boo game ended with the clean diaper on his head and viola! It was a cute little diaper helmet! Now a days every few diaper changes or so I put the clean one on his head and say, "How cute you look Mr. Diaperhead! I desprately wanted to get this adorable vision on camera so that 20 years from now when both of my boys are faithfully using the toilet I can gaze on this pic and say, "Look how absolutely sweet you were, little Diaperhead." So, I put the diaper on Chase who obediently sat there looking sweet then roped Jack, diapered his head and proceeded to torture him. I was doing everything I could to keep him next to Chase. As you can see I was trying to hold him down with my foot while snapping pics. He screamed and ripped the diaper off 5 or 6 times before I got wise and used the reverse psychology! It works like a charm on 2 year olds. Now that I didn't want him to be in the pic or wear the diaper, "No, Jack you don't need to be by us, go play with your toys. No Jack, you don't want to wear the diaper on your head." He was eating out of my hands. Hope you enjoy the shots and remember you can catch more 2 year olds with reverse psychology than you can with your foot!

Puerto Rico

Mom finally got back from Puerto Rico (We miss her alot when she is gone!) and she brought back this awesome little outfit for Chase and a shirt for Jack. I just think Chase looks so sweet in his mini visor and his tiny diaper cover, he he.

Baby Sitter

I was taking the photo of chase below when Jack came and sat on him. It was so cute that I snapped a shot and then made him get off of Chase. It was pretty funny that Jack even sat on him because Jack is usually so gentle and careful with Chase. Maybe he was getting jealous of all the attention.

Snug as 2 Bugs in a Rug

Jack begged for me to wrap them in the blanket together. They have so much fun laughing at each other and staring into each others faces. Funny Boys.

Just Hangin' Around

What a happy guy!
Jack loves giving Chase kisses. Jack can finally make the kissing sound when he gives kisses.
Here is our smoothie man...he sure loves those fruity drinks. Have you ever seen a drink mustache that big?
Chase with Aunt Lo, he sure loves her. She gives lots of time, love and attention to him and he likes to reward her with lots of smiles and giggles.

Lovie Brothers

Jack was so cute this morning! He wanted Chase to sit and lay by him. Jack would sit down and then pat the seat next to him so I would put Chase there. Jack is so sweet with his little brother. He loves to kiss him and make funny faces for him so he will laugh. Cute boys!

All the fun girly stuff...

So, now that we are here in the cul-de-sac Jack gets exposed to alot more girl stuff than he ever would at home. Mindi left her boots over here and Jack was thrilled when he got them on and came clomping over to show me. He was just so happy, he was probably thinking, "Why don't I have any clothes this color?"
The scooter is a whole different story all together...he and that scooter are practically attached at the hip. When we got here he saw the older kids riding scooters and wanted to do it too. At first he would walk around with it between his feet, it was banging into him and tripping him but he didn't give up. I have to hand it to him, he showed such perserverance! He just kept trying, and trying and trying until he figured it out. I tried to give him a little lesson once or twice but he would have nothing of it, he wanted to do it all by himself. Now he just scoots all over the cul-de-sac like a little pro.

Do you see a problem in these Pictures?

"Silly Mommy!" So, I put one of Chase's diapers on Jack today. (My brain is really going!) The big surprise is that it acutally closed, I didn't think it would! As you can see in the second picture, once he moved it popped right open but it looked pretty funny while it was on :) He thought Grandma and I were pretty wierd taking pictures of him in his diaper but he humored us...what a cute little guy!

Nicknames for our boys

Thanks to KC and Lo our boys have new nicknames. Well, I guess I shouldn't say 'new' because they have always called Jack, Gentleman Jack but now they have come up with a great one for our tiny buddy....
drumroll please... Cheerful Chase!
It is the perfect name for our tiny buddy. He is so happy all the time. He is quick with a smile for anyone who shows him attention. He is so cheerful and easily amused. He sure makes people around here happy!

Couch Potatoes

My mom bought these adorable couches to put in the new play house. The kids love them! I think they especially like that they can jump over the backs and use their whole body to take up one couch...a new experience for them!

Smoothie Obsession!!

So, Jack and I are on the smoothie train big time.
Every morning we get up and make a smoothie together, a nice healthy, full of fruit glass of deliciousness.

What a little smoothie maker!

Enjoying breakfast with my boys!

Four Fantastic Years!

Tracy gave us this awesome pic she made for us for our 4th Anniversary. It is pretty sad to spend it apart but at least we still love each other! In fact, we love each other more now than 4 years ago...It just keeps getting better.
