Chase is currently experiencing life as an only child!

He is lovin' every minute of it...well, except for this morning when we sat down to breakfast and he suddenly realised, "Wheres Jack?" He was a little upset when we reminded him that Jack stayed at Grandma's house last night when we came home.

He is hamming it up (as you can see below), making us laugh

and getting lots of hugs, kisses, and undivided attention. So, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa who caved to Jack's persistant,

"I wanna stay at Grandpa's house!!" and are keeping him for 2 nights.
I am sure he is enjoying having his own set of adults providing undivided attention.

I love the AZ Winter

I LOVE living in Arizona in the winter! The last few days have been in the low 70s, all sunshine and mild temps! I was sitting outside today in shorts reading my book and watching Jack run around in a t-shirt and underwear thinking, "It's January and my kid is running around half dressed outside, how nice is this?"

I love it even more when I look at these pics from about a week ago in Utah.

We sure had alot of fun in the snow.

And all the powder sure brings a smile to our faces.

But I am perfectly happy to enjoy where I am right now. Ahh...

The Vapor Rub miracle

When we were in Mesa for Christmas my sister-in-law read something on the internet about putting vapor rub on your kids feet to stop a cough. It sounded hokey but when Jack started coughing a lot last night I decided to give it a try. It is a miracle cure! He was hacking away for an hour, I put some on the bottom of his feet, put socks on him and about 2 minutes later he completely stopped coughing! I wish someone had told me this last winter when he spent 6 months coughing every night. Jack would cough so hard he would vomit...his throwing up in sacrament meeting was a particular memorable moment. So, to all you people with cute coughy kids: vapor rub + socks= miracle cure!

p.s. buy the store brand and save a few bucks, I did.
